EVALUATION 4
How have used media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
Comment on your influences. In your planning where did you take some inspiration from and how did this become realised in your final productions. Include some snips and analyse in detail.
In our film these two characters are very similar as they both are in trouble where some close is kidnapped from them and they have to pay to get them back that is why i think callum chambers is very similar to liam nelson in our film. They have two to pay a certain amount of money to get who they want back, as they are both the protagonist. They are both very busy businessmen in our film and quiet rich and wealthy and have quite a lot of authority. They both were really smart clothes and act very smart so you can tell what sort of character they are from the picture. In this picture they are both on the phone talking to the antagonist who stole someone away from them and they are asking how to get them back. Liam nelson in taken is in a lot of trouble because his daughter was kidnapped from a gang and he has to try and save her and he gets a phone call from them saying that if you want your daughter back you have to pay up, and he says if i find you i will kill you. Callum chambers and liam neeson are very different in many ways as liam neeson is a very confident person in the way he talks and he is not scared of anyone and he is very vocal and when he speaks to the antagonist he has a lot of confidence in backing up what he says. Callum is very quiet and does not really speak much and he does what he is told and he knows that if he does not get the job done than their will be consequences.
Taken was overall a very similar film to our film so it was a very inspirational to us overall because we had a similar storyline to us and we wanted to make it good like that and have some similar features to ours. In taken the tension increasingly build up in big scene which is very similar to ours especially at the kidnap scene. I think we had some great establishing and close up shots which really worked well as they all came together. We also had quite a few location as i went to barcelona i took some long range shots at the beginning of the scene as it made t look a bit different and intriguing for the audience.

Post-production:Explain a range of editing camera choices and outcomes, include some snips of premiere elements screenshots and explain and your choices and outcomes in detail.
In our trailer we had a lot of fade in and out in the film and a lot of different transactions through the filma as i thought it made it look more professional and added another dimension. I think i trailer was good because it builded a lot of tension through the film and than go completely black then come back on the screen which questioned the audience a bit because they never knew what was going to happen next. In the last scene there was a good black out scene which was very effective in my opinion because it left a complete blackout which left the audience a question. What will happen next?
We also had subtitles analysis wich was telling you what was happening in the film through it i thought that was effective because it was going past every scene in the trailer.

Use of camera. How did you plan and storyboard the dynamic moments in your trailer. What moments are you particularly proud of in your trailer and were they planned or improvised on location?
We filmed our storyboard by doing a draft at the beginning we had many different ideas as a group so first of all we decided to all do a n action/thriller film but that we had a few problems with the age rating, swearing and the sought of scenes we were going to do in our film and the wrong costumes we would of worn we changed our minds as a group. we also had a few issues with location with the film we were not sure where we was going to film our scene in the end that we decided what to do best as a group but over the process we had a couple of issues with it. sometimes went and filmed but we did not think that scene was going to fit in our film so we got rid of it as we thought our audience would not enjoy it and went and made a new one as we realized what mistake we made so we had to make a lot of changes overall about our trailer. I am very proud of my film because i thought as a group we made a very successful film and we had many different twist and turns through the film but at the end we made a great entertaining film for the audience to watch and that is what i am happy about personally. I think we made the use of camera in our film very good as we had many difefrnt shots establishing, long shots and mediums and we filmed in many different areas so it made massive contrast in our film which helped our film improve a lot. I think that the storyline of our film was very good as we had a man villian and hero and we set out our film a lot and we made a succesful kidnapping film which had a lot of controversial scenes in it. I think taht we all improvised our characters well as we made it very believable and enjoyable for the audience to like.
