Their is a few continuations in the film for example the eyes are one as one is bigger than the other eye and it is bright red which is the colour of red and that kind of tells us a bit about the film. that kind of tells us what the film is about. The moth could suggest many things for example she could be telling a big secret and she isn't allowed to tell anyone and maybe knows about it apart from her. From the poster you can clearly see it connotes death and that is the main message about the poster and you can tell from the poster death is in the film. The colours used are very colourful for the moss which is on top of her lips it is on her lips because it is covering up her secret.  The large butterfly on her mouth feels like she is telling a secret which connotes death. You can tell by the title silent of the lambs that a secret is to be told but she is stopped by telling the truth.

The text on the poster is very small and it doesn't  stand out it is too small the title of the film is bright red and bold and that connotes death and it kind of all comes together. They include the actors name to make it more eye catching to the audience and so that they know who is in the film and so they will come because they will see stand out actors in the film.  There is a butterfly covering her mouth so you could tell as a spectator that their is a secret and something of a mystery to be solved.

Lastly the characters of the film have been named on the post to get the audience attention and make them want to go and watch it. There are questions to be asked by a audience point of view, why is one nostril bigger than the other and does play a key part in the film? who is the girl on the poster? And why is her mouth covered by a butterfly?

The dark night analysis  T he genre  indicates from the opening scene in the dark night that it is an action film, from the opening minutes the was already shooting involved from the joker who kills two people and from then you could already tell that it was an action film , his crew where holding weapons and guns and that medium shot of all 3 of them together in my opinion was a really powerful shot because it tells the audience that is jammed pack with all the things that you would expect from an action film. Secondly The music in the background was very upbeat which created tension between the characters and the audience can feel more involved as they didn't no what was going to happen next and you can hear the drum in the background increasing and so did the intensity to and it all ended in a dramatic ending when the joker killed everyone and took the money and drove of with the bus.  Thirdly Mise en scene was used in the opening few minutes with the characters m...
