The matrix film analysis
Firstly in the matrix film trailer you can tell by the start that it is a action/ adventure film by the clothes that he is wearing. They are all wearing black dark clothes which you associate with action films. In the film you can tell the genre is that by how they are all dressed up and all the weapons they have on them.
The sound in the trailer is very slow and low beat for example when the boy and the girl are hugging each other in the room the music is very slow. Throughout the trailer the music goes at the same slow passe until the gunshot and the massive explosion towards the end. When they are fighting in the end the music if very fast and effective as it shows the tension showing between the 2 characters fighting it went from a slow tempo quickly to a fast tempo.
When they are fighting in the end their are medium shots of them fighting then it goes right into a close up and that is effective because it shows their facial expressions and the tension going through both characters. When he was having a dream in his bed their was a close up of him sleeping and he was not sure if he was in a dream or if he was actually living reality that was effective because it showed what he was going through.
