Film magazine analysis 5

The front cover of the empire magazine is about the main protagonist of the film bourne legacy. from the beginning the audience can tell that it is a sci-fi action film. You can tell that from the poster as it has quotes which give it away and by what he is wearing as he is wearing all black you associate that with a sci-fi film. 

The main character is starting right in the middle at the page at the audience to make eye contact with them that will attract the audience because it will feel like the audience already feel involved in the film. 

He looks very dangerous and angry he has a gun in his down as he is ducked down just about to kill someone he is wearing all black he is wearing a black jacket and trousers and that is what you will associate with a gangster film .

The background cover is bright blue to make him stand out and so that u can see him clearly which is effective as you can notice him right away as soon as you look at the poster. As a man who is dressed up like that makes you think it is more mainly aimed at a male audience in the way he is dressed and looks. 

A few quotes stand out from the page for example gangster special in bold red in the bottom left corner to tell you what genre it is and to make people who are interested in that types of film to look at that and make that appeal to them.  The tittle bourne legacy stands out and it looks very effective and it makes the audience feel attracted to them and it appeals to them as it is hard to not read when you see the poster.

This is our location research we have we recorded a view from the top car park of Salisbury car park we captured all the building from the top of the car park that we filmed. We decided to film here because we thought that it would be a great scene for a kidnapping scene because it is a wide space and we can use that well. The dark night analysis  T he genre  indicates from the opening scene in the dark night that it is an action film, from the opening minutes the was already shooting involved from the joker who kills two people and from then you could already tell that it was an action film , his crew where holding weapons and guns and that medium shot of all 3 of them together in my opinion was a really powerful shot because it tells the audience that is jammed pack with all the things that you would expect from an action film. Secondly The music in the background was very upbeat which created tension between the characters and the audience can feel more involved as they didn't no what was going to happen next and you can hear the drum in the background increasing and so did the intensity to and it all ended in a dramatic ending when the joker killed everyone and took the money and drove of with the bus.  Thirdly Mise en scene was used in the opening few minutes with the characters m...
